In keeping with established custom which the children detest and absolutely refuse to follow, Jack names the cars. How else are you supposed to remember if the little blue car is the "Honda" or the "Toyota?" And which Toyota is it? The current fleet is named Nelson, Lucy, Vinnie, and Gilbert.
The newest member of the fleet is Fiona, a red Toyota Solara with sport trim and stick shift. Fiona will replace Gilbert, who is going to be sold down the river.
The other photo is work in progress: Laying brick pillars to enclose the lally columns supporting the addition. They will be completed with transverse arch-shaped wooden pseudo-beams.
